Brendan grew up on his family farm high in the Stormberg Mountains, where a deep-rooted hunting heritage and life outdoors shaped his path from an early age. With over 15 years’ experience as a Professional Hunter, a Dangerous Game licence, and extensive time in the field on both plains game and dangerous game safaris, he is widely respected for his calm nature, strong fieldcraft, and consistent shot placement. After years guiding in South Africa and abroad — including time in Tanzania as a skipper and fishing guide — Brendan founded Garland Hunting Safaris in 2023. Today, he offers authentic, fair-chase hunting experiences across the Eastern Cape, giving clients access to a wide range of plains game species in varied landscapes, delivered with integrity, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
