This is some of the most populated Black Bear country in North America. The province of Manitoba does a great job restricting the number of black bears that we take to keep the population healthy and the quality of animals high. It is not uncommon for our bear hunters to see multiple bears on stand each night. We expect our bear hunters to see bears daily. It is the high number of animals that makes this hunt so exciting, and keeps our Black Bear hunters coming back each year. Our Manitoba Black Bear hunts have been sold out for the past 9 seasons. There was a waiting list to hunt this area for six years before we took over in 2006. We are always excited about getting new hunters into the area and running some great Manitoba Black Bear hunts each spring
