- We provide a premier New Zealand hunting experience! We have access to some of New Zealand’s best trophy hunting terrain and a world class hunting guide to help you explore the country.
- We call it an ‘experience’ because there’s so much more to it than just a hunting trip, your adventure will include good old Kiwi family hospitality and an endless list of non-hunting activities. This is all made possible due to our location in Lake Hawea, only a short drive from the popular Lake Wanaka Resort and Queenstown, the bustling adventure capital of NZ.
- Barry Dodds (Doddsy) has been hunting all of his life; he’s been a professional guide around the region for years and has also hunted throughout Australia and South Africa - so he knows a thing or two about stalking trophy animals.
- Tony Dodds (Son, also known as Doddsy) has grown up hunting with his dad since he could walk. Tony loves to be out in the mountains camping out and stalking some of New Zealand's best animals on offer.
- To experience New Zealand hunting at its best, get in contact with Doddsy. He can take you on the trip of a life time, stalking the internationally famous red stag, or his favourite hunting prey – the Tahr. Both are in abundance right on the doorstep of his Hawea homestead.

The package includes 4 nights / 3 hunting days and a 600-650" SCI Red stag trophy. This is a family run business with both Barry and son Tony taking the guiding. Both are well seasoned and fully certified professional hunters. We pride ourselves on having that 1:1 guided hunt to make it as exceptional as you have dreamed. We design hunting experiences to suit hunters of all ability levels and preferences. I can work with you to design a tailored package that delivers your ultimate hunting adventure. We have a hunting lodge based in Wanaka where you will have everything you need. We are situated in the number 1 tourist destination in New Zealand, there are endless activities to do around our area, so why not bring the whole family!

Located within the main homestead, but is private and contains an ensuite for guests. All meals are also provided to guests, and are cooked to a high homemade standard. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks and beverages.
