Your hosts, John & Lori spend the off season at their home in Minnesota. They are quite familiar with northern Manitoba as they have owned and operated their lodge for over twenty years. John has hunted and fished northern Manitoba for over forty years, taking sons Mike, Daren, and Curt before the age of five. Lori was born and raised in southern Manitoba and has truly fallen in love with the far north country.

Combination Guided Moose Hunt & Non Guided Fishing Moose hunting is excellent with us. We have an exclusive fly-in hunt area, which is miles from any other hunters. The Moose in our area have very large racks. We continue to have a very high success rate every year. Our hunts are one guide to one hunter. We are allotted 8 licenses per year but only do 4 hunts so we can achieve our high success rate and do not deplete the moose population in our area. John and Lori will be in camp with you during your stay to ensure a quality hunt. The trip includes our fabulous Lake Trout and Northern fishing we have at that time of the year. This is a fly-in 7 day hunt with 2 additional days free of charge in the event of bad weather. The trip includes float plane flight to and from the lodge, guide for the hunt, boat, motor, gas, fantastic home cooked meals, lodging (in cabins), and flying your entire Moose out. The price of the hunt is $9,995.00 USD. The price includes taxes, license, and allocation fee. The price does NOT include a $2000 kill fee which is due upon shooting your moose. We take two hunters September 20 - September 27 and two hunters September 29 - October 6. We offer a Non Hunting Companion - Seven Day American Plan Fishing Trip for $1895 U.S. p/p (does not include fishing license). Check out our website for news, photos, and more information.

Lodge/Cabin/Outpost Camp
Our main lodge is on Matheson Lake. We can accommodate 16 people. Our lodge and cabins are nestled in tall pines and birch trees overlooking a beautiful sheltered bay. Our cabins each have two bedrooms and a full bath. We have a dining room and lounge to better facilitate our guests. Our Plumbtree Lake Outcamp lake is fourteen miles long. This cabin features eight bunks, pots, pans, dishes, gas stove, refrigerator, heater and lights, generator, freezer, smoker, outside fireplace, hotel mattresses, hot and cold running water and indoor shower. The moose and bear hunts includes floatplane flight, guide for the hunt, fantastic home cooked meals, lodging in cabins, boat, motor, gas, bedding, towels, taxes, hunting license and our great fishing.

Located 44 air miles SW of Lynn Lake, where the float plane picks you up. Lynn Lake is accessible by road. It is approximately a 700-mile drive from Winnipeg. We also have charter flights available for those who would like to fly from Winnipeg.

- Moose hunts require a deposit of 50% at the time of booking. The balance is due May 1st. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your reservation in writing and send you a detailed itinerary. Deposits and payments are non refundable and will not be credited.

We had a great trip with them! My buddy and I both shot big bulls - 50 and 51 inches!
I was a great trip from start to finish. John and Lori are great outfitters. The boats and motors were reliable and the accommodations were top notch. The food was incredible. The Northern Lights at night were a bonus! Highly recommended!
Moose hunt
Nice cabin,great fishing, Lori is an awesome cook. We got two beautiful bulls.
The town of Lynn Lake. Very sketchy. Lockup your stuff. Also be careful in Thompson.
