Those who have been shooting doves in Uruguay over the past twenty years will say there is nothing like this in the world. You will be shocked to see the huge black cloud moving towards you over the horizon when you see that it is millions and millions of doves. Thanks to the enormous population (estimated to be well above the 20 million, the supply of crops and the right weather conditions, enable this bird to reproduce 8 times its number over 12 month), hunters can expect to shoot anywhere from 1000 to 2000 shots. We guarantee that whatever your level of shooting is, this will be one of the best shooting trips in your life! Sample Schedule: Day 1: Leave USA on an overnight flight to Montevideo. Day 2: Upon arrival you will be met by a member of our staff, who will assist you with gun clearance and hunting permits. After all is cleared and set, you will be transferred to the Ranch via charter or van, for your afternoon shoot. (Some of our guests prefer to arrive one day early, so they visit the capital city Montevideo. These clients usually enjoy a leisure lunch at the famous "Mercado del Puerto", a nice walk around the old town, city tour or shopping for Uruguayan typical gifts.) Day 3: After a hearty breakfast, you will drive out for the first Dove shoot. Lunch time can vary, on some days you will be going back to the Estancia for drinks and a lovely lunch; on others days you will have a famous asado out on the fields tasting Alberto´s renowned T-bone steaks, or you might be taken to enjoy a typical restaurant in a country village. Like in the morning afternoons will be full of action with Dove shooting. As sun sets you will return to the Ranch, to enjoy drinks and a exquisite meal. Day 4, 5 and 6: As above. Day 7: Morning last dove shoot. Early snack. Departure to airport for flight home. Assistance with check-in and presentation of gun permits.

As soon as you arrive our staff will meet you, ready to ensure this will be a trip to remember! At the Ranch you will be welcomed with crackling fireplaces and friendly smiles. Drinks and hors-d'oeuvres will be set out while you have time to settled into your rooms, looking forward to a delicious meal. Our Estancia has fantastic porches, balconies and is beautifully decorated. Fromall rooms, you can look out onto, soft rolling never ending green pastures, occasionally interrupted by a gaucho riding by or some cows or sheep grazing. Lunch can vary, some days you will have a typical asado out in the fields tasting Alberto´s renown T-bone steaks, other times you might stop for lunch at a local and colourful typical restaurant, or you will be going back for drinks on the porch at the estancia and a tasty lunch. Days will be full of amazing shoots, followed by relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace with family and friends.

Transfer to the Ranch may be by Charter or a Van. This will be coordinated ahead according to your preferences. If you fly by Charter you will have access to the VIP lounge.

- Once you have your visit organized and dates confirmed, you will have to pay a deposit of $1500 per hunter. Deposits are not refundable unless client finds replacement. Your full trip payment is due prior to arrival. At the ranch you can pay with cash or cheque, for your shells, tips and other extras.

An excellent bird hunting trip for the money!
We have hunted with them for over 20 years, very consistent dove and perdiz shooting, wonderful guides and dogs, very good dining and accommodations.
It is a long way to go for a hunt but the stay of 4 full days of hunting makes the trip worthwhile. Some of the hunts take an hour or so to get to but in the end the hunts are very good.
