Rocky Mountain Elk originates in the Rocky Mountains but can be found in Western North America. Adult bulls can weigh up to 1000+ pounds. At Hartland, you can pursue massive bulls that have the potential to score 500” plus SCI. This is elk hunting at its finest.
Hartland offers estate elk hunting from September thru early December. Also, no tags are required. We will provide an amazing experience for you on our trophy elk hunting trips! Contact us today to book.
At Hartland, we pride ourselves on our exceptional client care. We offer a complimentary chauffeur service, including to and from the airport
- All meals and snacks are provided. The menu is fixed in advance but alterations can be made to accommodate allergies and intolerances. Our menu is also flexible, allowing guests to eat food freshly hunted.

Breathtaking, Panoramic Views & Memorable Hospitality
Our beautiful new hunting lodge is surrounded by breathtaking and panoramic views of both the Blue Hills and the Canadian Plains. Hartland ensures a quality hunt by limiting bookings to 4-5 hunters. Larger groups can be arranged. The hunting cabin accommodates a maximum of ten hunters/guests at a time, in our private and semi-private rooms.
From our lodge decks, you can hear the spine tingling sound of bugling bulls and fighting bucks. On a clear night, you may even be lucky enough to see the unforgettable beauty of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).
After your hunt, if time permits, there are other local activities you can enjoy! There are arranged migratory game bird hunts and other tourist attractions, which are found only half an hour away in Moose Jaw. Of course, there is also the option of relaxing right at the hunting cabin in front of the fireplace. Enjoy the atmosphere while you watch a game or read a book!
