Driven Bird Shoot Day

We have over 30 drives and the birds are driven out of woodland and hill side cover. Most drives are medium to high-medium height between 40-60 yards. Our topography includes several duck ponds and a network of tributaries to the river Eden. The ground has some steep banks which offer higher birds. The bag split is majority pheasant, duck and partridge drives can be added based of client requests. We can accommodate days of 200+ birds and match the day to your needs. We aim to provide good sport in a very friendly atmosphere. The day is fully catered, refreshments and food are all included throughout the day. Lunch is served in the shoot lodge and we generally serve game which has been harvested from the estate. A typical day: • Meet at 9am for a briefing at our shoot lodge. • 1st drive followed by elevenses. • 2nd and 3rd drive. • Lunch at the shoot lodge • 4th drive. • Afternoon tea at the shoot lodge We recommend days in November December particularly if the aim is to shoot larger bags. Suggested dates for 2025 are Saturday 29th November and Saturday 20th December but these are flexible. Cost is £52 per bird with no additional tax. A 50% deposit is required, the balance is payable up to 1 month before the shoot day. The price a 250 bird day would be £13,000 for up to 9 hunters/guns.
