  • As full time Alaska hunting and fishing guides we offer our guest some of the best wilderness hunting and fishing adventures that Alaska has to offer. Growing up hunting and fishing and guiding from an early age, has taught me the respect for the animals that we chase.
  • A successful Alaska hunting or trip comes down to one simple thing – experience. We’ve been using our unparalleled experience to lead clients into the rugged Alaska landscape on productive Alaska hunts for 10 years. Our professional Alaskan guide’s combined experience is over 100 years, and we are proud to offer trips focusing on wild animals that can only be found in the frontier landscape of our Alaska home.

Об этой охоте

Alaska is home to 80% of the brown/grizzly bears. The term grizzly bear is often used in reference to brown bears. The difference between the two is defined by the location in which they inhabit, SCI does this by game management area and B&C us the 62nd parallel. Our camp located in western Alaska is within the SCI boundaries for grizzly bears while our Peninsula area has all brown bears. We hunt for Grizzly bears out of our Western Alaska camp in both spring and fall. Our fall hunts take place September 1-10 and can be combined with moose hunting. The spring season is April 20-30 and we are hunting with snow machines and snow shoes. Fall hunts are based out of tented spike camps and the spring hunts are based from our main camp. Our biggest bears come during the spring and we have many bears in the record book from this area. Both spring and fall hunts are very low volume and very high success.

Western Alaska Hunt Camp

Our Titnuk Camp is located in GMU 19 and is the jumping off point for our western Alaska brown bear hunts, grizzly hunts, and moose hunts. This camp is located 275 miles SW of Anchorage in the upper Bristol Bay area of Alaska. This is more a camp than a lodge with one main building, a shower building, 5 wall tents and a large cook tent. This camp is accessible by small bush equipped aircraft.

The point of outfitting is when you arrive at our main lodge. hunters will have to fly to Anchorage Alaska, here you will have to overnight, and the following morning you will fly with Lake Clark Air to the town of King Salmon. Once you arrive in King Salmon you will be met by Branch River Air, they will transport you from the airport to the float plane base located a couple miles away. Branh River Air, will fly you to our main camp. Once here we will do our final paperwork and then you will be flown out to your spike camp. We operate to float equipped aircraft during bear season, a Cessna 185 and a Piper Super Cub. Our two airplanes are for the exclusive use of our guest and are used to support our camps and to relocate camps if we need to. Western Alaska is home to our Titnuk Camp, located in the Nushagak Hills the camp sits on a ridge that separates the Nushagak drainage and the Kuskokwim drainage. Our hunting area here is over 1500 square miles and contains some of the best brown bear habitat in the area. We take 5 spring brown bear hunters and 10 hunters in the fall. There will be no refund of deposit after 3 working days. Due to the nature of these trips we highly recommend trip insurance to cover any untimely accidents or emergencies that may arise on short notice. Certain prime weeks are reserved through Booking agents, shops and past guests on a first come basis, so we recommend booking up to 2 years in advance as many of our repeat guests do.
