Wood pigeon is an incredible wing game bird that proves to be a challenging hunt for many great shooters. it's a migratory bird that leaves the nordic European countries during autumn and heads towards southern regions. Usually the best period to pursue them is from mid October until January, but this i s subject to changes depending on climate conditions.
Not only this bird is an incredibly fun game to hunt, but the way we pursue it is probably the most spectacular bird hunting you have ever seen. From stands placed high up in the tree canopy with special live decoys, that are released once the migratory floc is in sight to try and redirect them towards the stand. its a special practice that takes lots of skill to master and its a truly incredible hunt to witness and participate in.
