Our company was established in 2015 and operates in 1 territory.
- I am a second generation outfitter with 20+years of guiding year round. For the past 15 years I have been specializing in mountain lion hunts.
- All of this experience ensures you a top quality hunting adventure. We take a limited number of clients each year to make certain that we can provide the best quality hunt and the best chance of success for our clients.
- I am your hounds-man and one of the guides. We may have additional scouts and guides to increase your odds of finding a tom track. We strongly encourage only mature tom harvest. Bearing in mind that to us the dogs are what it’s all about and we normally will tree any cat we can and enjoy taking pictures even if the lion is not suitable for harvest.

Our hunts are five full hunting days beginning on December 1st.
Snow is a very big factor and if clients can come on call or be flexible with their schedule the odds of harvest is increased greatly. If needed a day or two can be added on at the pro-rated cost.
We start early in the morning driving roads in the dark looking for tracks. Once a track has been located we continue trying to freshen up and shorten the track. If we find a track then at daybreak we can put the hounds on the track and the fun begins!
We utilize a custom build hound truck, snow mobiles, four-wheelers, and side by sides to get as close as we can to the treed cat. Please note, there is always some walking involved in a mountain lion hunt.

The majority of our hunting is done on public ground. We have private property to hunt as well which we will hunt later in the day.
Our hunting areas are on a quota system with over the counter license (guaranteed tag). We are permitted in multiple hunting districts ensuring quota closures won’t be a problem.

Iron Wheel Guest Ranch
As this is an all inclusive hunt the accommodations involve clients staying at the Iron Wheel Guest Ranch in a kitchenette with a private bath. Iron Wheel has a commons room with a TV, WI-FI, and cell phone service.
Breakfast consists of doughnuts, fruit, coffee etc in the truck. Lunch is cooler style and dinner is a home cooked meal at Iron Wheel Guest Ranch.
