Moose & Whitetail Deer Hunt

Our moose/whitetail combo hunts take place during the peak of the whitetail rut, while moose are post-rut. Moose hunting during this period is very active and physically demanding. We hunt from a mix of ladder stands, ground blinds, and natural blinds in areas where moose and deer habitat overlaps. Our strategy is to prioritize the deer hunt early in the week and harvest a whitetail as efficiently as possible, which allows us to dedicate more time and energy to the moose hunt. We rely heavily on fresh snowfall to track moose movement and focus our efforts on key feeding areas. With a seven-day window to successfully harvest two different species, minimizing limitations—whether from weather or physical challenges—is critical. Every available day counts, and maximizing effective hunting time is essential to the success of both hunts.
