Outstanding trip!! Thank you for the hunt of a lifetime. Celeste, his father Carlos, and the entire staff exceeded every expectation. We all shot great stags and finished up with fallow and axis. The guides are personable and top-notch hunters. Great food and great accommodations.

Fantastic experience at Mapu.

Very well managed with high numbers of game. To be surrounded by more than a dozen roaring red stags is an incredible experience! The staff, service, accommodations and food were all excellent. Celeste and her father Carlos are some of the best people I have met on any hunt. My guides Victor and Eduardo were very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. Thank you for a wonderful and successful trip!

Hunt of a Lifetime

Great accomodations! We could hear stags roaring all around us from our rooms. We saw many stags every day as we looked for one to take. My guide was outstanding. When we bumped animals he knew the ranch so well we were able to get in front of them. In addition to the stags we took axis and fallow deer as well. We were surrounded by game every day we hunted.

It is a long trip there and back but well worth the ride.

Me and my friends spent an incredible week in Mapu. I want to congratulate Celeste and his entire staff for making us have a very good stay. Highly recommended!

Unique place to hunt, highly recommended

I went to this outfitter in 2019 and was very pleased with the experience. The variety of game is amazing and we were hearing stag roaring every day. The lodge is very comfortable and the food excellent, and my wife who came along had a wonderful vacation. I do recommend this outfitter and will want to go back soon.

Beautiful experience

I went to this outfitter in 2017 and 2018 and going back this year after the pandemic. I like the rutting season and found this place to be perfect to experience it. Last time I went it was in mid-April and could still hear the roar even from the main house. The food here is delicious and the people very nice; accommodations are comfortable all while maintaining that rustic Argentine La Pampa style.

Excellent Outfitter

This father and daughter team is running a first class operations. The food an accommodations were beyond expectations and the hunting was even better. If your looking for a great hunt in Argentina look no further. I took a great stag and axis deer with the bow.

Exceeded what I've dreamed of for year!

Stalking in on a roaring free-range Red Stag in wide open, beautiful big sky country cannot be beat. Seeing game every time I went out. Having a guide who was extremely dedicated to my desire for a great hunt and a great stag. Accommodating the special approach needed to take a stag with a bow. The staff treating me and my partner like family. Warm, friendly, SMILING faces every day and night. The incredibly prepared wild game dishes served every day (wow). I had dreamed of doing this for years... and MAPU exceeded what I had wanted. I can't recommend them more highly.

My first impulse is to say absolutely nothing. However, my response is actually a reflection on me. I should have learned a few basic, hunting-specific words and phrases in English. It would have helped my guide cater to my needs and explain what we were doing more effectively.

Good hunting experience

Celeste and her entire staff were extremely accommodating. My guide, Mario, was a real pro at finding Red Stag! Great meals.

We toured Argentina for 3 weeks after the hunt & left our firearms there during our travels. On return Celeste was gracious enough to invite us for another fine dinner. Saw about 10 shootable stags before taking a shot. Make sure you practice your Spanish.

No reflection on Mapu, but the country is not like US with firearms. We went through several check points on our travels and were glad we didn't have any with us. Taking firearms into the country is a real hassle. As I was told it would be.

Trip of a lifetime

Accommodations, guides, food, hunting equipment, animals, experience were all top notch and top my favorite hunting experience in my lifetime - I heard the same from two hunting buddies that came with. They worked extremely hard to ensure each and every hunter had a great time and if needs varied, they accommodated accordingly with ease. The chef was great and each incredible meal highlighted the potential of game meat we were hunting in the field. The guides were great and my guide was a wealth of knowledge, so I learned a lot watching him. Carlos and Celeste are passionate about what they do and it shows in what they have built and how they operate. Highly recommend to anyone and we are likely to return next time we have the itch for red stag. If you are looking for a red stag hunt in Argentina - this is the one.
