No opportunity to fill our tags. We had 5 tags to fill between 3 people. Nobody was given the opportunity to shoot at an elk.

November Cow Hunt

I booked this hunt somewhat last minute and have zero regrets or complaints. Talking with the owner over the phone before hand I had a good feeling and he did not disappoint. Everything he communicated to me was true. This private piece of land was loaded with elk as well all the surrounding/touching properties. First light morning one we were on elk and that continued until the 3rd morning when I got my shot opportunity and was able to harvest a cow elk. Elk are everywhere and they will get you on them...shot is in your hands obviously. I will be a return customer and from what this Outfitter explained to me on their vision for the future they will only get better and better.

Hunting with Justin

I’ve hunted with Justin for elk for the last 7 years. I have not always filled my elk tag, but the experience is worth double the price! What I like about Justin and his team, is that they take a sincere interest that the hunters have the best possible experience! He is extremely knowledgeable of the animals and the terrain, always made sure we were safe, and had an Ultimate experience. He and his son Trey are very patriotic... and I appreciate that. I can’t wait to go again in 2020!

Excellent hunting experience

I have hunted and guided Elk and Deer in Colorado since 1968. I am a Hunter Education Instructor, a Firearms Safety Instructor and a CCW Instructor in California. I hunted and guided for more than 45 years on one large private ranch in Northeast Colorado, but when that option ended 7 years ago, my son, two hunting partners and me had to find something fast. Fortunately for us, a friend recommended Justin. During the past 7 years we have hunted 4 different properties (another story), but each one provided a unique and an excellent hunting experience. Finally, in 2019, Justin purchased, and now owns, some excellent Deer and Elk properties near Hayden and Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Both Justin and son, Trey, are Army Veterans and are very patriotic, which, as a retired Army Officer, is most appreciated and important to me. Justin and Trey know the Deer and Elk habits and habitat well, and employ their calling and tracking skills, which are most impressive and valuable. No one will work harder to put you in the right location to harvest an animal, track your wounded animal, and process the animal (once located), and then transport it to the local meat processor. They can not guarantee a “kill” but they will provide you with the opportunity(s) to harvest an animal. The rest is up to you. Justin and Trey have become close friends with me, my son and our group. You will not find two more dedicated individuals to the practice of Fair Chase, and ethical and safe hunting in Colorado.
