Chinese water deer

If you’re after a day out with a solid team of stalkers who have exactly what they offer deer wise, then these are the guys to go with! There’s a lot to like, The professionalism of the guys, their knowledge of the species and the area, their approach to the hunts, the way they made you feel comfortable and at ease. Also the way they made the day fun. I’ve been out with a lot of professional stalkers and these guys are right up there with the best of them! I haven’t laughed as hard or had that much fun between stalk before ever.

What’s not to like, The weather, but they can’t control that. Dress for the cold, wet and mud, you’ll be fine!!

First UK hunting trip

Booked this hunt on the spur of the moment as I didn't get to deer hunt at home this last year. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Multiple large hunting areas with plenty of game. Muntjac, cwd, roe and lots of foxes. We stalked, high seat, and some calling. I took a nice cwd and a buck and doe muntjac on my 4 day hunt. Ivan is a great guide and became a good friend as well.

Chinese water deer - home counties sporting

3 of us booked with Home counties sporting. All 3 of us got what we were after (2 trophy cwd and 1 cull buck) the guides were professional, polite and knew their ground and quarry. All needs were catered for, from accommodation and transport to 1 out of the 3 of us not being as physically abled as myself and another hunter. Our wants and needs were met, and in some instances exceeded. An experience i will not forget and will be re living again very soon this coming season!

The quality and abundance of game in some beautiful terrain, excellent service from Ivan (top notch, professional, and personable he become a god friend in short time) accommodation close to the hunting grounds. To say this was a trip of a lifetime is an understatement, I got exactly what i were hoping for from the experience in terms hunting terrain and shooting some amazing animals. In 4 outing Ivan was guiding me on 4 amazing trophys 2 gold CWD and 2 amazing Muntjac. I personally couldn’t be happier with the hunt and would recommend Ivan and team as an outfitter for a UK hunt any day.

The stalking with Kaz was fast and furious! we advised him to book three days hunting in pursuit of a trophy Muntjac and Chinese Water Deer (as we would with all international clients). Kaz shot a brace (buck and doe) of Muntjac within one hour of arriving at the first stalking ground. The next day he shot his Chinese Water Deer within 1 hour of arriving at the second stalking ground..... this is very unusual, but that's hunting. We all had a great time, and managed to persuade the chef at the accommodation we use to cook a loin from the Chinese Water Deer for Kaz to eat for dinner before leaving.

A Perfect Mornings Hunt

There were plenty of deer to chose from. Our guide was happy to taylor the morning to suit us. He was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we had a great morning. The booking process was also very straightforward and all the questions I had were answered fully and quickly.
