Roe buck hunting

Velik, Miroslav and the local guides were very well motivated and prepared.
They found game to shoot even outside was 41 celsius hot and the animals were staying low in the shade of the forest
A/C in the rooms is needed

Velik was prompt in getting me back and forth from the airport, driving me to rustically luxurious accommodation, and getting me out into the rugged yet serene Rhodope mountains, leading to a Gold Medal class Tusker trophy being bagged on my first day hunting, and my first day in Bulgaria.
The introduction to mountainous Bulgarian cuisine was a feast for the senses, and Velik was very helpful in providing interpretation.
Verdict: come one come all

My brother and I had 3 nights' hunting (with separate guides) and each had the opportunity to shoot wild boar every evening. It was also really pleasing to see how delighted the guides were when we were successful.

The guides did their jobs well and Miroslav (my guide) stayed with us throughout the duration of our time hunting in Bulgaria and was an excellent host. Additionally, the food at our lodge was also excellent.
The lodge was even more remote than anticipated so simply a recommendation to take a book / something to do in the available down time.

Velik and the guides really looked after us and did their best for us to find the animals we were after. The hunting territory was vast, with plenty of game and opportunities. The accommodation was great, and the Bulgarian food was simply amazing! We are definitely coming back!
Very pleasant experience overall, nothing to complain about!

Jackals population there is strong with some big individuals. Its interesting, satisfiing kind of hunting, not so much physical, but require fast, precise shooting. Myself enjoy it a lot and I can recommend Velik's services. No problems, professinal approarch, and all outfitters was very helpful.

Velik "Cazahuntingbg" is a great guy! Very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and informative!
He arranged a trophy fallow buck bowhunt in one of the best places on Earth for it. Near Sofia in Bulgaria. Had a fantastic guide with whom we were stalking deer in the woods the whole day and finally I had my chance on a huge 3,5kg mature fallow deer bull at 50 yards. Velik arranged everything and was with me the whole time. Despite the amazing trophy I also was able to take home some of the best meat of the animal!
Very happy with his service and how things worked out. I definitely highly recommend Velik to anyone interested in hunting some of the best trophies Europe has to offer!!!
