My first hunting experience in the Kalahari

I liked the PH's attention to details in camp. Thy have a vast knowledge of the areas they hunt as well as the beautiful animals they put me onto. They have huge respect for the animals we hunted, all the creatures and plants (of which they have very good knowledge) in the ecosystem, and for me as a client. I've enjoyed it so much that I've already booked another two hunts with them. The first I'm taking 5 friends and the second I'm taking my two sons.

The ultimate goose hunt!

We hunted a scenic location with a high concentration of a variety of bird species. Louis, my Professional Hunter, was born and raised in South Africa and was very knowledgeable about the birds we hunted, as well as the other species we observed. It was fun to learn from him. The Spurwing Geese are deceptively fast. They are very large, heavy bodied birds and are fun to hunt. We also hunted Egyptian Geese, Guinea Fowl and Rock Pigeons, but for me, the Egyptian Geese made my trip. I had been wanting to hunt them for more than 20 years and they did not disappoint me. Our hunt consisted of pass shooting, hunting from a blind, jump shooting and hunting behind dogs. We were served an amazing brunch, set up on a white tablecloth next to the reservoir on which we hunted. It far exceeded our expectations. I live and hunt in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. It has some of the best waterfowl hunting in the world. This hunt was definitely on par!

The day was too short! If you enjoy bird hunting, plan for multiple days!

Great Hunt in South Africa

An extremely professional setup that allowed our group to enjoy a wonderful hunting experience. We found high quality game for both Trophy and Meat Hunters, and the willingness of the PH to go the extra mile made this a hunting trip edged into our memories forever. Our group was so satisfied with our experience that we immediately booked our next hunt with them.

Southern Freestate hunting (South Africa)

We hunted a very well stocked game farm with excellently varied terrain and a wide array of species available. There were abundant opportunities to walk and stalk, as well as ambush hunting. Louis and Turner Wilkinson are highly experienced and professional operators, very patent with inexperienced hunters, and excellent company around the camp fire when the day’s hunting is done.

Prime Hunting Ground and Professional Hunting Equipments

Louis is a very good communicator! I went for a last minute 3 days hunt in his property and I had a super good time! I understand some folks might have strong opinions about the high fence hunt. However, this is not your Texas high fence. Louis got a huge piece of property adjacent to a natural preserve where nobody could hunt. I assure you these animals do not care about the fence. They come and go as they wish! Also, Louis reload his own ammunition for his rental rifle. As a target shooter, I have absolutely no problem with his rifle, stock was professionally bedded, trigger was adjusted and very crisp, scope has quality glasses. You might want to reconsider bringing your own rifle given the fact he got some really nice guns.
