- "When hunting with this outfitter you will have exclusive use of the hunting area during your stay there. All their Limpopo concessions are exclusive to them and many years of wildlife management have gone into creating a hunting destination that will hopefully meet and exceed your expectations of hunting in Africa! When hunting their areas the average shot with a rifle on Plains Game would be roughly 100 yards and at the top end about 250 yards. If you are comfortable taking longer shots, that is OK as well, but please ensure you practice shooting from sticks and standing up, as this is the common scenario most of the time. If Bow Hunting, most of their blinds are set up for a 20-35 yards shot."
- "For the Rifle hunter we recommend bringing a weapon you are comfortable with and know intimately. If you do not want to go through the hassle of bringing your own guns over we are more than happy to allow you use of our weapons in camp. Bow Hunting can be done out of various hides on the concessions or on foot by means of walking and stalking. Most shots will be between 20-30 yards, as our bow hides are all strategically placed to ensure the highest possible success rate. Any bow set up that you use for big game hunting back home, for example deer, is sufficient for our plains game . Fixed blade broadheads are recommended but a well-placed mechanical broadhead is also deadly. Additionally for plains game we recommend an arrow of at least 400 grains and up and for dangerous game an arrow of at least 750 grains is recommended with a well constructed two blade cut on contact broadhead."

Good day BYH community! We are proud to be able to offer this to all of you in 2023! We have just enjoyed a fantastic 2022 season with new an old clients. This hunt is always a welcome cash injection into looking after and maintaining the population of Rhino's in South Africa going forward. (Rhino truly eat an unbelievable amount, not to mention the security costs!!). This hunt will take place on one of our various areas depending on which hunt you wish to do. There are multiple Rhino's on the concessions (exact numbers and location not to be revealed for security reasons) ranging from bulls to cows to calves and some concessions are in excess of 100,000 acres!! We will of course always target a specific animal for the hunt. Although their eyesight may be poor their nose and hearing is great and it is a serious nerve wrecker once you are within range of them! You will be guided by us personally and you will be in safe hands. For those interested in this hunt please remember that it is a minimum of 3 months for the permit to be processed (work on about 4 months to be safe). Previous hunting of the big 5/ dangerous 7 as well as membership with a hunting club/organization is also a requirement. Other species are available to hunt on the safari.

- Unfortunately with the amount of predators, diseases and the ease of infection any game that is wounded, has to be paid in full according to the price list or package. But rest assured, we have some amazing trackers and great PH's that will try their utmost to find any wounded game even after you have left. The most common species to be wounded are Blue Wildebeest and Gemsbok. Shot placement is key, if you listen to your PH, and hit them in the correct spot, they won’t run far.

Unbelievably and unforgettably
Absolutely professional Michael’s team. His own PH level is off the scale. Trophies are just unreal. If you are looking for a real Africa and a real honest hunting, then you are here The movement of a herd of buffaloes somewhere nearby in the bush, an eye-to-eye look at a distance of less than 20 meters, PH luring the buffalo even closer and an arrow flying to an incredible trophy… This is something I’ll never forget. Thank you guys, thank you Michael, thank you Africa!

Best outfitter I've used. 8 safaris in total, of which 2 with Bayly Sippel, next will be with them too.
Instantly understand their client's needs and preferences and taylor the safari accordingly. Enthusiastic, excellent tracking, lodging, skinning, easy-going and hard-working. I highly recommend.

Extremely knowledgable PHs and excellent trackers. Hosting and accommodation is second to none. I have hunted with the guys on more than one occasion and usually have another hunt planned at all times !
