Morning hunt the guide was well prepared and organized with gear and plans. His scope was set at max power, and I wasn’t given a brief lesson on his gear, so I couldn’t find the stag in the scope. But he explained it afterwards and I was able to get a doe. He kept the doe without asking me or offering me any meat which I would have given him, but that was weird. Guide did not take payment over the bookyourhunt.com app so that made me think it maybe a scam.
Afternoon guide was a kid that didn’t know what he was doing. He was messing around on his phone during hunt. I was supposed to get picked up for hunt by 5pm but turned into 530ish due to him working his job before, but that ran into my hunting time. He overall didn’t seem like a professional, more like a casual hobbiest that the guide manager sent to ensure I could afternoon hunt.
