James
Our company was established in 2006 and operates in 2 territories.
- Our deer hunting ranch is about hunting and a connection with the outdoors. There are many great outfitters to choose from; it’s a difficult process. I will make it simple - we do not offer all the great services others do. We put in the work in the off-season on the 12-14 food plots. You show up and do the work of hunting. We do not walk you to your stands or cook food for you. The catch is that you just get the benefits of my deer management expertise indirectly. Our property is done to the best of any standard when it comes to food plots, mineral, non-stop corn feed, and not allowing kids and grand-kids on the property riding side-by-side in the off-season.
- You’ll be provided trail maps to access all the food plots, ladders stand locations on most food plots, tower box blinds, 5 auto feeder locations, what's in each food plot, etc. My lodging is not high-end. It’s simple with the basics and you feel like you’re out in rugged deer hunting country. Quality deer and land management is key for our Bluegrass state to continue the excellent hunting culture we currently boast. 1 buck per hunter is state law and Kentucky's gun season in most zones is only around 14 days!
About this hunt
WE HAVE 12-14 FOOD PLOTS AND 5 AUTO-CORN FEEDERS THAT ATTRACT DEER. This is the most exciting time of the year. The bucks seem to be running everywhere. Kentucky only allows 1 buck per hunter per year, that's why we are producing larger deer than most states. Hunt in tower blinds(4) with ladder stands on most food plots. Because strangers won't be mixed in on the property or at camp, THIS IS A 3 HUNTER MINIMUM TO BOOK... There is a 125 inch buck minimum rule with no does to be shot at during this trophy buck hunting time. There is a $200 self-imposed fine for accidentally shooting a young buck. Upon booking, whether you can take the tour or not, I'll mail you out maps of where the trails are, the food plots, whats in each food plots, where the ladder stand and elevated blinds are, where to field dress deer, etc. We don't walk you to your stands or cook food for you. The work has been done, now you just need to hunt! If you prefer company of outfitters and guides, they are an excellent resource, but that's just not what we offer. FREE CABIN USE: It is basic. bunkbeds and a pullout couch. Has gas lights, gas heat, and a gas cookstove, but no water. You get to use an outhouse! It is a deer camp.

Where you will hunt
Territory
My Kentucky deer hunting property I guarantee looks better and is more manicured for quality deer management than most because I do it as a passion, and if I make money, it's a by-product. For nearly 10 years I’ve been working this property to produce the best Kentucky deer hunt for me and my friends possible. This whitetail deer hunting property has been designed as if God himself wanted to hunt this land. It’s about a 155 acre piece of deer hunting paradise. This property is manicured year-round for world-class Kentucky whitetail hunting and I leave it alone during hunting season. It's all yours to enjoy with just your private party (2-4 hunters). It is 95% wooded with the other 8+ acres scattered in small huntable kill plots throughout the Kentucky trophy deer property.

Where you will stay
Deer Hunting Cabin
It's a small but quaint hunting cabin. It's well insulated with an overall dimension of 16X24 with a front porch. A slider window is on the back wall so that you can over look a clover food plot should you decide to stay in the cabin for a sitting. Furnishings to Expect: pull out couch, bunk beds, chairs / table, gas cooking stove, gas heat, gas lights, basic cooking utensils & throw away plates/cups, etc. Sleeping bags, pillows. You get to use an outhouse at deer camp! It's in the sticks; no running water. $55 motel is 20 minutes away if you'd like. We are all about Kentucky whitetail hunting and keeping prices down for an affordable Kentucky trophy deer. Bring a quiet generator if you'd like to run the flat screen and DVD player. All hunts have a 2 person minimum to book, but email to make sure.

Cancellation
- Out of state license guaranteed from walmart; however, during Covid period, we require you to buy your licenses within 48 hours of booking otherwise you risk government getting goofy on license sales. Historically, you can buy them the day before your hunt, but we cannot afford to rely on government. We are not law enforcement, but we do not do refunds if big government tells people to eat at Wal-Mart vs. hunting food for themselves. Buy your license and you will be fine. If they station troops on the border not allowing travel, then a refund would be in order, otherwise, no refunds due to alien invasion, nuclear war, virus, etc.
- BASIC REFUND POLICY:
- Work with me, and I will work with you. If you cancel outside of 60 days to your hunting date, your deposit will be applied to the same hunt next year. If you need to cancel 30 days prior to your arrival, give me a heads up. Your reserved hunt is valuable, and I can likely sell it. I will give you the money others pay me for your hunt. If you need to cancel just before your arrival, give me a heads up. There is a chance I could still sell your time, but you could be out of luck. This land is pure hunting land. Hunting season is limited, so when the time comes and goes, I still spend the money on the deer feed, seed, fertilizer, etc. With only a short 2-week gun season, spots are limited, and in demand.
- Covid / Aliens / Nuclear War Emergency Related Refunds:
- Common sense will be applied, but it will be basically like the above policy. We are hunting in the woods; we are not having $700 dinners in the big fancy cities. The government allows people by the millions to go in and out of Wal-Mart daily, so hunting for food on large chunks of land is the most human right I can think of. Treating people like they are birds in nests with their beaks open waiting for the government to give them food is a slippery slope.
- Licenses are guaranteed at Wal-Mart year-round, but after this virus situation, the government seems to care about those who choose not to work and forgot those of us who work have to pay taxes to feed those able-bodied people who choose not to work. Either way, Wal-Mart does not grow food on trees. Somebody has to work and provide food for their family.
- If you cancel 60 days prior to the hunt, your deposit will be applied to the same hunt next year.
- REFUND POLICY DUE TO COVID/ALIENS/NUCLEAR WAR, ETC.: You are leasing the land. If you cancel 60 days prior to your hunt, the money will be applied to be used for the same hunt next year. If troops are stationed on borders, not allowing you to cross state lines due to Covid/meteor/War, the money will be applied to the same hunt next year; otherwise, there are not refunds. I do not think troops have prohibited/documented citizens travel post Civil War.

too many dose per acre to hold quality bucks. Deer not on food plots in October.
Property layout.
Wish we knew that the food plots were useless in October. Stands not set up for archery.

Talk to the guy. Lots of wildlife. Could have shot 20 deer and turkey, but shot one coyote.
Property is secluded in the middle of nowhere. Year-round food sources clearly makes the difference here.
Bunkbed sucks - cheap mattresses.
Well Managed
The food plots and action
I didn't bring a 4 wheeler
No Showers! In All fairness, they are in the sticks.
Wonderful hunting area. Everything was exactly as James explained it. From the stand locations, food plots looking great and corn be provided/baited in advance. Had heat and light despite me would prefer a shower; it's a give and take.
I can't say I "didn't like" anything. I would prefer a shower. There is a creek. I brought a cheap shower bag.
Great Outfitter - Very Professional
Mostly importantly I shot a nice buck. So of course I have good things to say. The property is done to perfection. The food plots offer variety and are obviously being hit by the deer. You have to love well fed deer that visit a known buffet. I think guide services are available but I didn't use them. I used the cabin and went hunting until I bagged my buck.
Great place to hunt
Great deer area. Seen deer every day. The area is secluded and wooded. Not a lot of open farm land which could be a concern for feeding and keeping a healthy deer here. Overall I do prefer hunting in the woods and smaller food plots. The cabin was a typical deer camp with everything you need. We will hunt there again.
