- I have lived in Alaska for my entire adult life. I have sixteen years of guide experience, is a Registered Guide, Pilot and member of numerous hunting and conservation groups.
- My wife Martha is a lifelong Alaskan, and was born and raised in Iliamna. Martha is a second generation sport fishing operator, having worked in her mother and father's fishing lodge her entire life. Her knowledge of the area, the lake, and all its tributaries is invaluable.
- Lake lliamna, where our lodge is located boasts the highest brown bear/grizzly bear population density in the world.

About this hunt
The Grizzly Bear is an apex predator in the Alaskan wilderness. The Grizzly population is growing in Alaska to such an extent that now the bag limit is 2 Bears a year. We utilize float planes, wheel planes, ski planes (Spring hunts), boats, and rafts on this spot and stalk hunt. Bears are hunted while feeding on Salmon along streams, on open hillsides covered in cranberries and blueberries, and in the Spring around dens. These are high success grizzly bear hunts with a variety of hunt dates and style options. These hunts have 22 hours of daylight and are suited for clients who enjoy glassing. The May hunt is during the bear breeding season and anything can happen at any time. There are also April spot and stalk grizzly hunts based out of the lodge, the method of travel on these hunts is snow machine, snowshoes, and skis. Any hunter coming to hunt in April should be ready for high adventure and a true Alaskan experience.

We will meet you at Iliamna airport.
