We are a family run ranch located on the western edge of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Our goal is to be a premier trophy hunting and family outdoor experience destination for a limited number of clients. You won't find many ranches in Texas that have this quality of Axis deer and provide great personal service like we do This hunt package is for one trophy Axis buck, 3 days and 3 nights lodging, all meals, and 1:1 guide service. This hunt package incudes; 1 Trophy Axis Buck $150 per day Non-hunting guest accompanying a paid hunter. We support getting our youth involved in the outdoors. They are the future of hunting. This fee is waived for a youth under the age of 16 accompanying their parent on a paid hunt. All hunters must have a valid Texas hunting license. Our Lodge
Our main lodge is a classic Texas log and rock home with four bedrooms and two and a half baths. The lodge was originally built in the mid 1980’s and was beautifully renovated in 2013. All meals are served in the main lodge where hunters and staff can gather to swap stories. It is a place to relax and feel at home, whether warming by the wood stove or enjoying the game on the big screen TV in the spacious den. Adjacent to the Main Lodge, we recently completed construction on our 3 bedroom, 2 bath Hunters Lodge! No cots here. All of our beds are from quality mattress manufacturers such as Tempurpetic, Memory Foam or Serta. They are so comfortable you may want to stay in bed all day. But the lure of hunting big Texas whitetails will get you out of bed. All meals are provided and served family style.

How to get there
Austin Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) is very convenient with direct flights to many cities in the US and abroad. No need to rent a car, the ranch will provide transportation from ABIA for a nominal fee. The ranch is in Menard county with the closest community being London Texas. This area of Texas is known as the divide, as the rolling hills of Central Texas meet the vast open spaces of West Texas.

This service may be an added expense to the hunter. If your trophy is recovered after your departure we can arrange to have the antlers shipped to you.

Great Hunt!
Robert and Pam did everything possible to make me comfortable and have a successful hunt. I was very grateful for their efforts and hospitality. I had a terrific time and a great hunt!

Great place for your first axis hunt.
Robert and Pam are wonderful hosts. The lodging is great. I got my first Axis here and he was a stud. You can see how well the herds are managed here and I highly recommend SNR. Robert is also very helpful when it comes to arranging things for people out of state (I am in Pennsylvania myself).
The only this is probably the distance from the airports but honestly driving to the ranch let me see a lot of stuff and really I can’t consider it a negative.
Excellent hunting and treated like family.
The owners are awesome. Very proud of their faculty and they took great pride in making you feel like your at home. The food was very good and some straight out of Pam’s garden.
Nothing all aspects was very good.
