Castle Creek has been providing guided big game hunts for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on our first class operation. Our state licensed Idaho outfitting business is located in the Salmon and Challis National Forests, in the heart of the rugged Idaho Salmon River Mountains, long famous for its Idaho big game hunting, fishing, camping, horseback riding and pack trips. We offer Spring Black Bear hunting and Fall Elk, Mule Deer and Black Bear hunts in the Salmon River Mountains. Recently purchased from the original owners, we look forward to continuing to offer excellent service, quality hunts and meeting both new and past clients to create wonderful memories together.

This hunt pricing is only good if 2 hunters book, 1x1 hunt is an additional $1250. We offer fair chase guided hunts with no fences. We strive to give you a successful and great Idaho elk hunting experience. Every aspect of our hunts is done in a professional manner. We know how to give you the best in guided Idaho elk hunting. Our years in the business backs this up. We pride ourselves on our camps, guides, cooks, horses, quality of our Game, and self-management of our outfitting areas. We are licensed by the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Licensing Board. We operate under a special use permit with the Salmon-Challis National Forest in Eastern Idaho. Our licensed hunting area is approximately 100 square miles of National Forest in Idaho. We manage our Idaho hunting area and limit the number of hunters we take each season. This produces larger bulls for the limited clients we take. A fair chase 6 point Idaho bull elk is one of the most sought-after trophies a hunter can harvest. It is our priority to help you harvest one if at all possible. If you wish to harvest a mature Idaho bull elk with professional guides in an area that is strictly managed for them, give us a call and book your hunt with us.

Castle Creek Outfitters. The place to go.
What an experience! A great hunt. Kelly,Jenifer,Tello and Tia are wonderful hosts. Pushed me to the max. Passed my stress test many times. A genuine, wall tent, wilderness hunt. If you are a fat old man, looking for a 50 yard shot at an elk tied to a tree, go to a "game farm". If you are looking for the real deal, this is it. I now have "rugged elk hunt" bragging rights.
Loved every bit of it. Wish we had shot an elk, but it's about hunting. Not about shooting.
It was the most amazing hunt that I have experienced in my interest life food was great accommodation was great people where above and beyond expectations
All of it there was nothing bad about the hunt it was everything I would expect it to be and it exceeded my expectations
