Royal Thabane, South Africa's most exclusive hunting lodge, is offering the unique opportunity to hunt some of the finest buffalo and plains game in the country. The lodge is considered as one of South Africa's few premium destinations available to the hunting fraternity. With a stunning walk-in gun room, elegant wine cellar, private. individual villas and multiple breathtaking entertainment areas, Royal Thabane is undoubtedly the ultimate destination for VIP hunters and family groups alike. The experience will be that of a true fair chase hunt according to our sustainable protocols. All hunting will be conducted under true walk and stalk or spot and stalk conditions and only mature animals will be hunters. Hunters will have a large variety of plains game species to pursue.

Returning home as Happy Hunters
Very friendly and professional outfitter head by Alex running 3rd generation family business. The lodge Royal Thabane is an excellent 5 star one. Using Rigby rifles with Z8i Swarovski's optics was a good experience. My PH Gary was exceptional. Very calm, hard working and friendly person with exceptional knowledge of animals and animal behavior being also a vet himself. He was very selective to find old, mature animals rather than point and shoot style. Our tracker has several times beaten the dogs. Overall very good experience and left with only good memories.
Food was excellent. Only thing, being in Africa would have liked to eat more game meet but it was also understandable that we were the ones opening the season.

They bent over backwards to make sure we had a wonderful experience,
Alex was a great ambasador introducing my daughter and I to the African bush, and especially mu daughter to hunting.
I didn't get to sample enough of the animals I harvested. But lesson learned, I make sure to express that at the beginning of the hunt now!
