- "When hunting with this outfitter you will have exclusive use of the hunting area during your stay there. All their Limpopo concessions are exclusive to them and many years of wildlife management have gone into creating a hunting destination that will hopefully meet and exceed your expectations of hunting in Africa! When hunting their areas the average shot with a rifle on Plains Game would be roughly 100 yards and at the top end about 250 yards. If you are comfortable taking longer shots, that is OK as well, but please ensure you practice shooting from sticks and standing up, as this is the common scenario most of the time. If Bow Hunting, most of their blinds are set up for a 20-35 yards shot."

MINIMUM 3 OR MORE HUNTERS ADVERTISED PRICE IS PER HUNTER The average shot with a rifle on Plainsgame would be about 100 yards and at the top end maybe 250 yards. If you are comfortable taking longer shots, that is OK as well, but please practice shooting from sticks and standing up, as this is the scenario most of the time. If Bow Hunting, most of blinds are set up for 20-35 yards shots. Bow Hunting can be done out of various hides on the concessions or on foot by means of walking and stalking. Most shots will be between 20-30 yards, as our bow hides are all strategically placed to ensure the highest possible success rate. Any bow set up that you use for big game hunting back home, for example deer, is sufficient for our plainsgame . We prefer someone to use a bow that they are used to and very familiar with, than go out and get themselves a heavier set up, that they are not familiar with. Success is greater if you are familiar with your bow and used to using it. Fixed blade broad heads are recommended but a well-placed mechanical broad head is also deadly. Additionally for plainsgame we recommend an arrow of at least 400 grains and up and for dangerous game an arrow of at least 750 grains is recommended with a well constructed two blade cut on contact broadhead. - Unfortunately with the amount of predators, diseases and the ease of infection any game that is wounded, has to be paid in full according to the price list or package. But rest assured, we have some amazing trackers and great PH's that will try their utmost to find any wounded game even after you have left. The most common species to be wounded are Blue Wildebeest and Gemsbok. Shot placement is key, if you listen to your PH, and hit them in the correct spot, they won’t run far.
