Masailand at Zimbabwe Prices

This is a great value for money hunt in a country and area where safari prices are traditionally high. I took lesser kudu, gerenuk, Patterson eland, Grant gazelle, Dikdik and EA impala and had a shot at fringe eared oryx. Camp was comfortable and food was good.

It took us a day or two to find our groove. The first couple of days I had too many people on the stalk when we spotted game that made it difficult to approach. A few words with the PH remedied this.

Good value for money

Buffalo and plains game

I hunted the first weeks of September. I shot 2 buffalo ,lesser kudu, wildebeast, Grants gazelle and a Dik Dik. It is very dry that time of year. We saw good numbers of game most days. You would see much more game if you went earlier in the year. The camp and food are great. Camp staff are wonderful Overall very nice trip. Very good value

Most of the people do not speak much English. It is best to learn some Swahili before you go. It helped a lot

Good value for money

Pure hunting , no glamour

I was advice to change my timing due to extremely dry season. I did not and do not regret. We have seen animals every day, but the PH did not advice to shut until we see a really decent specimen. The first 6 days I shot a different animal. Second week we spend after EA Kudu and finally got them. Good food and service. Very friendly people.Nice and clean camp
