About this hunt

TAILOR-MADE SAFARI African Safaris lasting 7 to 15 hunting days should see you return with a good bag of trophies. A good measure to work on is one trophy per day. More days means less pressure on everybody, a more relaxing time in Africa and usually more and better quality trophies! We’ll personalise your hunt to suit your age, health and capabilities. Our aim is to make your safari with us as pleasant, enjoyable and memorable as possible, and to give you real value for your money! We strive to be exclusive. We thus try to book only one group at any one time! The result is having the area to yourself, and all our attention is focused on your group. We’ll take you through an elaborate A to Z prep process that covers everything in detail once you book a Safari with us. MINIMUM HUNT DURATION: 5 full hunting days & 6 nights. With the arrival and departure days, this safari requires a total of 7 days. ADDITIONAL DAYS: Can be booked at the regular rate. HUNTERS: 2 Hunter x 1 Professional Hunter. The quoted rate is per hunter. VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT): Is not included in the daily rate. Trophies are VAT exempt if exported. Prices are subject to foreign currency fluctuations between the time of the quotation and the hunting date.

Harloo excellence

10.0 of 10

Niel paced the time I had so we could concentrate on the game I wanted, in the order of importance to me. He was very patient and knew the area well, ensuring I had opportunities for a great buffalo and nyala. In addition, we hunted at night for bush pig and porcupine and it was an entirely different experience. The entire experience was first class and we enjoyed every minute of it. Food was tasty and plentiful, accommodations were exactly as described and the service we received was top notch. They even assisted in procuring handling our COVID tests required to leave SA. Even with our hunting schedule, we still had time for some activities including a great afternoon on Lake Jozini spotting elephants, hippos and crocodiles. My wife was admittedly lukewarm about one more trip across the pond, but she thought this was our best trip to Africa yet. I agree and would love to share my experience with anyone considering Harloo.

Everything was as advertised and more than expected.

Wonderful time at Harloo Safari's

10.0 of 10

My wife and I hunted with PH Niel and Owner Edmund at Harloo Safari's in Aril 2023. This was our third safari in Africa and was by far our best experience. I hunted Cape Buffalo, Nyala, and Reebok, and my wife also hunted Nyala, but also took a fantastic Kudu and a wildebeest. Food and accommodations were incredible. Niel and his family were wonderful hosts, as was the owner Edmund. The trackers and camp staff were very friendly and accommodating. My wife and I are already planning a return trip.

Nothing, our safari experience with Harloo was everything we hoped for and more!

My first trip to Harloo and I was very impressed with this outfit. Excellent game numbers and quality and ethical hunting. The camps are very well layed out and I'd be very happy bringing the whole family.

Accommodation Great range and facilities Variation of the farm, which provides mountain, grassland, riverine and woodland hunting

I didn't book for long enough....could easily have stayed a few more days
