About this hunt
This is a combination offer allowing hunting at our 2 concessions: lowland Bilen Hertale and mountanious Arba Gugu. We value the animal population and the genetic diversity within the animals in our areas since we depend on them, by employing multiple local trackers and scouts, by working hand in hand with hunters, local communities and government organizations we preserve and protect the conservation in our areas from illegal poaching and deforestation. Hunting season: October – June For the option of Lion add $10000 to the package.

Located in the heart of Bilen about a 4 hour drive from the capital Addis Ababa, someone can find the ideal place to relax and connect with the naturalistic beauty in and around the lodge. Like an oasis, filled with lots of vegetation and cozy little Bungalows, it stands alone in the hot Afar Savannah and overlooks into a vast plain from which wild animals can often be spotted.

Hunting Camp
Our camp is located on the edge of a long one-sided canyon. Although quite basic, it serves its purpose, by providing comfort and relaxation. It is located strategically for the sole purpose of spotting Mountain Nyala’s by taking a 10-minute walk from camp to the edge of the canyon where Nyala’s can be spotted browsing in the valley below. Due to our close proximity to the canyon we try our best to avoid sound pollution not to disturb the wild life, using solar power when possible and only small generator. The camp consists of traditional straw huts with W.C and main dining room.
