My wife and I have hunted with Mark four times over 15 years, including hunting for elephant and Leopard. Our hunts were in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. We had a high success rate on all animals hunted. He has contacts through the industry and everyone we have ever talked to about Mark has spoke highly of his abilities.
Mark is an "old school" PH who has been a PH for almost 40 years. His stories around the campfire at night are worth the hunt.. Part of the "old school" is that he is scrupulously honest and understated in his manners and how he conducts a hunt. His understanding of what it takes for a a good stalk and hunting success is first rate. A client would be very lucky to have Mark as a PH. I have hunted in Africa 21 times and in 10 different countries and would consider Mark to be one of the two best PHs I have encountered. I should also note that he is very good and patient with female hunters.

Excellent hunting experience
I met Mark thru a friend 2 years before my hunt. He stayed in contact regularly providing great support and insight into not merely the hunt, but importantly all the travel specifics including gun packing and customs. He met us at the airport. While package hunters were linned up like sardines, Mark walked Maria and I thru customs in minutes. He was the very best hunting partner, guide and gentleman I have ever met hunting. He saw that everything from accommodations to food, even what we liked to drink was first class in two different concessions over almost 3 weeks. At dinner Mark is the very best company. Our trip was unique in many ways and Mark saw to it that we enjoyed every second of it. The animal quality was beyong description. Mark is a hunter. He is a guide. He is the unlimate concierge and to this day we think of him as a life long friend. We have recommended him to others who feel as we do about Mark. Because of Mark, not only was hunting with him an experience unlike any other, but of all the travel Maria and I have done, the trip with Mark was the most romantic experience ever for Maria and Me. When it was over Mark spent a day in Joberg with us sightseeing. He even arranged our taxidermy, which arrived seemlessly in 6 months just like he said it would. He delivered us to our flight and saw us off. We stay in touch to this day, and so will you if you hunt with Mark.
That we had to leave. You hunt with Mark and you will get your animals, but there is so very much more than that. Don’t miss a thing.

There was nothing we didn't like.
Been to Africa hunting eleven times and four were with Mark. We went back one last time, so that our final trip was with Mark and a picture of our last sunset in Africa.
Everything was organized. In tough situations he always made things work out for the best. Very pleasant to be around.

Hunting with Mark was a great experience
Mark was 100% on top of his job. He knew where the game was and he is very skilled in getting me within 25 yards of my cap baffalo (I was hunting with a cross bow) I felt extremely confident in his ability to back me up and to keep me safe.
This is the only hunt, and I have had many, where I found nothing going wrong and all my questions were always answered.
