About this hunt

This is for coyote hunting only. $300 for 1,2 or 3 days. Schedule your coyote hunt right after deer season in January on through March. Shooting coyote at night is legal in Kentucky with a spotlight for more fun and hunting time. Sit in an elevated box blind and call or bait them. You are doing me a favor by shooting a few yotes! I assume each critter shot saves a 1/4 fawn, so help me out! If you bring a second person you just add $100 whether they are just company/shiner/hunter/extra set of eyes, etc. I'm guilty of driving 16 hours to just shine coyotes while others shot them. Getting away to the woods with a gun is an excellent way to "live." No target shooting, no shooting at anything other than a coyote in your crosshairs. I have a full-time resident who helps manage and keeps out poachers. The longest walk you'd have from the cabin is...3/4 mile? So, no 4-wheelers or side-by-sides allowed (you'd spook the yotes anyway). They are smart and will almost "always" approach your decoy from down-wind. _____ I run 4 auto-corn feeders nearly year-round on 12-14 food plots so the turkey enjoy these advantages as well. $750 per hunter for 3 day/night turkey hunts and $1,200 per hunter for 5 day/night bow hunts. Gun hunt package deals around $5,700. All the food plots we have for our trophy whitetail hunts are perfect for Kentucky turkey hunting!

Success rate

Coyote hunting. This will be based on pure hunting skill than luck. Deer hunting can be a lot of luck. If you don't call coyotes or have a decoy, you will not see them.

Where you will hunt

Territory

My Kentucky deer hunting property I guarantee looks better and is more manicured for quality deer management than most because I do it as a passion, and if I make money, it's a by-product. For nearly 10 years I’ve been working this property to produce the best Kentucky deer hunt for me and my friends possible. This whitetail deer hunting property has been designed as if God himself wanted to hunt this land. It’s about a 155 acre piece of deer hunting paradise. This property is manicured year-round for world-class Kentucky whitetail hunting and I leave it alone during hunting season. It's all yours to enjoy with just your private party (2-4 hunters). It is 95% wooded with the other 8+ acres scattered in small huntable kill plots throughout the Kentucky trophy deer property.

Where you will stay

Deer Hunting Cabin

It's a small but quaint hunting cabin. It's well insulated with an overall dimension of 16X24 with a front porch. A slider window is on the back wall so that you can over look a clover food plot should you decide to stay in the cabin for a sitting. Furnishings to Expect: pull out couch, bunk beds, chairs / table, gas cooking stove, gas heat, gas lights, basic cooking utensils & throw away plates/cups, etc. Sleeping bags, pillows. You get to use an outhouse at deer camp! It's in the sticks; no running water. $55 motel is 20 minutes away if you'd like. Terms of Payment

  • Deposit: 100% based on trip price
  • Deposit deadline: 7 days after booking
  • Final payment: 10 days Before hunt

Cancellation

  • For the $300 coyote hunt you're just out of luck. Turkey is too short of a season for cancelling as well. For deer hunting, if you cancel 60 days prior to your hunt, you can cancel and use that money for the same hunt for the same date the following year. After 60 days, still call me if you can't make it and give me a chance to sell the time slot. I can almost always get at least 1/2 of your money back if I sell your date.
  • Licenses are guaranteed at Wal-Mart during July. Before booking, make sure you can buy a license. If you are a felon, seven years old, illegal alien, etc., you may be out of luck.
  • If you cancel 60 days prior to the hunt, your deposit will be applied to the same hunt next year.
  • REFUND POLICY DUE TO COVID/ALIENS/NUCLEAR WAR, ETC.: You are leasing the land. If you cancel 60 days prior to your hunt, the money will be applied to be used for the same hunt next year. If troops are stationed on borders, not allowing you to cross state lines due to Covid/meteor/War, the money will be applied to the same hunt next year. I do not think troops have prohibited/documented citizens travel, ever, in this country

too many dose per acre to hold quality bucks. Deer not on food plots in October.

Property layout.

Wish we knew that the food plots were useless in October. Stands not set up for archery.

It stinks when a hunter doesn't shoot a trophy. I've owned this property for 10 years with the sole goal to to grow bigger bucks, with the farm next door being owned by my Grandparents and Mom for about 60 years. I spare no expense and probably make around 50 cents an hour...25 cents per hour maybe?.... This is what I do to clear my mind and get some relief from my full-time teaching job at a public school. I like planting food plots, feeding the deer, and making my 60+- apple, persimmons, and pear trees as healthy as possible. You guys have the "hard" job of hunting. Yes, I'm an anti-minimum wage guy. If someone has a job that pays $5 an hour, the free market will sort itself out (assuming the Government isn't giving out fortunes and early retirement money to able-bodied folks).

Talk to the guy. Lots of wildlife. Could have shot 20 deer and turkey, but shot one coyote.

Property is secluded in the middle of nowhere. Year-round food sources clearly makes the difference here.

Bunkbed sucks - cheap mattresses.

No Showers! In All fairness, they are in the sticks.

Wonderful hunting area. Everything was exactly as James explained it. From the stand locations, food plots looking great and corn be provided/baited in advance. Had heat and light despite me would prefer a shower; it's a give and take.

I can't say I "didn't like" anything. I would prefer a shower. There is a creek. I brought a cheap shower bag.

Great Outfitter - Very Professional

Mostly importantly I shot a nice buck. So of course I have good things to say. The property is done to perfection. The food plots offer variety and are obviously being hit by the deer. You have to love well fed deer that visit a known buffet. I think guide services are available but I didn't use them. I used the cabin and went hunting until I bagged my buck.

Great place to hunt

Great deer area. Seen deer every day. The area is secluded and wooded. Not a lot of open farm land which could be a concern for feeding and keeping a healthy deer here. Overall I do prefer hunting in the woods and smaller food plots. The cabin was a typical deer camp with everything you need. We will hunt there again.

It stinks when someone pays good money and does not take home a trophy. All I can say is look through my info, and feel free to ask questions. If you like what you hear, give me a call.
