About this hunt
The best time to go to Mozambique, for safaris and excursions, is from mid-May to August, because it's the coolest, driest and sunniest. Recall, however, that at high altitudes, above 2,000 metres it's cold and at night there may be slight frosts. This also co-insides well with most hunting seasons for the lion and elephant that you may be wanting to hunt. We get the following things done before your safari: - Hunting license. - Permits - Full rifle details - Make, Type, Calibre, Amount of bullets. Complete this form to ensure nothing is overlooked. - We will send you an Invitation letter for you to apply for your Mozambican visa at your nearest Mozambican Embassy. - All roads at the area have been fixed after rainy season to be ready for the safari season. - Anti-poaching at our area is a 12 month affair and our guys do a good job at keeping poachers out. - Our Chef works year round in the off-season keeping busy at our fishing camp where he keeps up his skills. - We will put you in touch with the trophy export company.

Territory
We are extremely pleased to announce our hunting portfolio in Mozambique, a 1 million acre hunting reserve in the heart of big game country, in the north western part of the country. Lying in the foothills of the Luangwa and Zambezi valleys, this area consists of Miombo forests interspersed with Mopani woodland and open grasslands which support a healthy family of big game species. These include the big boys – Lion, Elephant, Leopard and Buffalo as well as Roan, Sable, Kudu, Eland, Lichtenstein’s Hartebeest, common Waterbuck, Chobe Bushbuck, Impala, Reedbuck, common and red Duiker, Bush Pig, Warthog, Hippo, Crocodile and Hyena. Hunters must be willing to walk as terrain is tough and no easy hunting – this is proper hunting.

Where you will stay
Mparabanja Camp
The Camp is siutated on the banks of the Luanga Grande river, under the cover of huge trees. Here we have the open-plan dining area and lounge - where meals are served for dinner and breakfasts - and which overlooks the river on the bend. With a full "bush kitchen", open air lounge and dining room, thatched reeded chalets, "bush toilet" - with flushing water and shower, and hand basin, you are in nature as intended. The camp is still rustic and is purpose designed to keep the feel of the wild real and to contribute to your overall bush experience. Meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner - can be taken in the open air dining room or on the banks of the river under the stars. Night time is covered with magnificent skies making every star sparkle uniquely - and this alone is breath-taking. When out on the hunt it is optional to break for a meal under the trees or next to a river. These are generally planned for and co-inside with the days hunting activities.

Monster crocodile
There is lots of Outfitters that can offer trophy crocodiles. But only one that constantly take 15ft plus. Niassa Land take more monster crocks than all other outfitters combined a year.... Think about that
