More about us
Our company was established in 1983 and operates in 2 territories.
Our founder Mike Mackay has been involved in the hunting industry for more than 50 years, with us operating more than 35 years totally making it possibly the longest serving outfitter in Australia. Mike is without peer when it comes to safari hunting, with an intimate knowledge of both animal behavior and the environments in which they live. Working as a professional guide, Mike has traveled extensively not only in Australia, but around the world. From guiding Australia’s most dangerous game, the Asiatic Water Buffalo and Wild Scrub Bulls to the 10 foot Grizzly Bear club of Alaska, Mike has done it all. Moose, Caribou, Mountain Lion, Sheep, Nilgai, Bull Thar the list is endless. When selecting an outfitter for your guided safari it is reassuring to know that Mike and his team of handpicked professionals has the knowledge and experience to ensure that your dreams really will turn into reality.
About this hunt
Most of our hunting is done spot and stalk for both Bow hunting and Rifle. Due to large areas of most of our hunting concessions it is often necessary to drive to our hunting areas and travel around them in our fully equipped 4WD vehicles. If an animal of interest is spotted from the vehicle, we will find a suitable place to leave the vehicle some distance away and take up the stalk on foot, we like to get the hunter up as close as possible. Female hunters, wives and any non- hunting partners are most welcome, if you have any disabilities or special needs just let us know so we can tailor a hunt to suit your particular needs. Wild dogs, rabbits and pigs are opportunistic and free of charge.
