More about us
Unser Unternehmen wurde 2000 gegründet und betreibt 1 Revier.
- Tripp County is home to outstanding mule deer and white-tail bucks, along with antelope, turkey, pheasants, grouse, coyotes, and prairie dogs. Terry and his family are tribal guides for the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, which allows for hunters to have access to hundreds of thousands of prime hunting acres. Hunters will have access to both Tribal and private land. Having this access provides hunters with the opportunity to enter both state and tribal draws, which doubles their chances of drawing a tag.
- Tribal applications are due in May. There is a 1st drawing, followed by a 2nd drawing, followed by a date to call in and pick up leftover tags on a first call first serve basis. It is important to stay in touch with the Rosebud Game and Fish department (RSTGFP.net) to stay on top of these dates. There are normally leftover muzzleloader tags up until August.
- The applications and deadline for state tags comes after the tribal draw is completely over. This allows hunters to determine if they have drawn a tribal tag before applying for a state tag. If unsuccessful through the tribe, the hunter will then apply for state tags in unit 60 and unit 50A & 50B. State archery tags are over the counter, but tribal archery tags are through a drawing process. Feel free to call or email us and we would be happy to walk you through/explain the drawing process.
- All hunts are fair chase and we boast a 90% overall success rate on big game. We are proud to say that we had a 100% shot opportunity in 2016 on EVERY SINGLE HUNT. There are no hidden fees for any of our hunts; no trophy fees, and no room and board fees. Terry and his sons pride their business on creating affordable and enjoyable hunts.
- Hunters will stay in the recently finished lodge on the Maier ranch where they will receive home-cooked meals, fully guided hunts, and the opportunity to hunt trophy bucks, birds, coyotes, and prairie dogs. Transportation will be arranged to and from the airport.
- If you are looking for a great hunting experience that exposes you to the beautiful remote SD countryside, contact us. Please feel free to call anytime with questions.

My PDog Trip 2019.
This was my first trip to S. Dakota to hunt Prairie Dogs. Terry was very helpful to a first timer. He supplied supplied shooting tables, transportation to the towns, and helped spot dogs for us. He would point out deer and antelope that we saw.The lodge was nice and clean. He supplied 3 meals a day, hot fresh made breakfast, lunch was sandwiches/snacks, dinner was cooked by Terry`s wife Regina. Something new each night. Meatloaf, pork chops, and pheasant to name a few. Her cooking is awesome and desserts were homemade and awesome. This was totally an awesome experience. I will be back.
There was actually nothing I didn`t really like other than it was so much fun I was worn out the end of each day. I was ready for the awesome dinner, a shower, and bed.
Great hunt. We hit a bad week of weather so buck sightings low, but the country was spectacular, Accommodations were great and the EFFORT put out by Terry and family was remarkable. Am heading back this weekend at their invite to try to fill my tag.
