Your hosts, John & Lori spend the off season at their home in Minnesota. They are quite familiar with northern Manitoba as they have owned and operated their lodge for over twenty years. John has hunted and fished northern Manitoba for over forty years, taking sons Mike, Daren, and Curt before the age of five. Lori was born and raised in southern Manitoba and has truly fallen in love with the far north country.

Fly-In Guided Spring Bear Hunt with Fishing This is a seven day fly-in Canadian Spring Black Bear hunt and combination fishing package. We have an exclusive hunt area, which is miles from any other hunters. Hunt dates for 2020 are June 6th - June 13th and June 13th - 20th. We have a very high success rate for bear hunts. Check out the size of our bears. Our stands are set up for bow or rifle. We do take a lot of color phase bears including blonde, cinnamon and chocolate brown. The trip includes floatplane flight, guide for the hunt, fantastic home cooked meals, lodging in fully modern cabins, boat, motor, gas, bedding, towels, taxes, bear license and our great fishing for Northern, Walleye, and Lake Trout. We offer a Non Hunting Companion - Seven Day American Plan Fishing Trip for $1995 U.S. p/p (does not include tax & fishing license)

Lodge/Cabin/Outpost Camp
Our main lodge is on Matheson Lake. We can accommodate 16 people. Our lodge and cabins are nestled in tall pines and birch trees overlooking a beautiful sheltered bay. Our cabins each have two bedrooms and a full bath. We have a dining room and lounge to better facilitate our guests. Our Plumbtree Lake Outcamp lake is fourteen miles long. This cabin features eight bunks, pots, pans, dishes, gas stove, refrigerator, heater and lights, generator, freezer, smoker, outside fireplace, hotel mattresses, hot and cold running water and indoor shower. The moose and bear hunts includes floatplane flight, guide for the hunt, fantastic home cooked meals, lodging in cabins, boat, motor, gas, bedding, towels, taxes, hunting license and our great fishing.

Located 44 air miles SW of Lynn Lake, where the float plane picks you up. Lynn Lake is accessible by road. It is approximately a 700-mile drive from Winnipeg. We also have charter flights available for those who would like to fly from Winnipeg.

We had a great trip with them! My buddy and I both shot big bulls - 50 and 51 inches!
I was a great trip from start to finish. John and Lori are great outfitters. The boats and motors were reliable and the accommodations were top notch. The food was incredible. The Northern Lights at night were a bonus! Highly recommended!
Moose hunt
Nice cabin,great fishing, Lori is an awesome cook. We got two beautiful bulls.
The town of Lynn Lake. Very sketchy. Lockup your stuff. Also be careful in Thompson.
