Our remote hunting territory has very little local hunting pressure and we have exclusive outfitting rights. You will be hunting whitetail deer starting mid-October following through to December. The full rut is usually mid to late November. We take only 4 deer hunters per week, which gives each hunter a greater opportunity to harvest a mature deer, unless you have a larger group. We only take a limited number of hunters per season to ensure long term opportunity of trophy deer. The typical bodyweight of our deer is 220 plus lbs and the average antler score is 130-150+. In fact, our area has produced deer scoring 185 and higher! Our deer hunters go out before daybreak and most will sit out all day – not wanting to lose the opportunity to get their trophy deer. Tree stands and blinds would be heated as needed. Accommodations will be in a cabin. Rifle hunters must wear scarlet, bright yellow, blaze orange or white jacket or vest and headwear. Archery, muzzleloader and crossbow hunters may wear full camo. A full description of required gear can be found on our website. Even though we are in a remote location you are able to drive directly to our camp, either through Manitoba (via Winnipeg) or through Saskatchewan. If you are flying, it is most convenient to fly into Saskatoon and rent a vehicle for your 420 KM drive to camp. Guests arrive on the Sunday before hunting on Monday and leave the following Sunday morning. Deer hunters may have the opportunity to tour a trap line. You may show up as a client but you soon are treated like friends and family.
