• Matt Moskiewicz (Registered Guide-Outfitter #1319) is the owner and guide of High Country Guide Service. Since 2000 Matt has made his living guiding hunters, fisherman, photographers, filmmakers, geologists, birders, hikers, rafters and other outdoor enthusiasts in Alaska and all-over North America and the Pacific.
• If you are looking for a trip in Alaska that brings you to the finest hunting and fishing and guided by a real mountain man, then High Country Guide Service is right for you. Matt prides himself on his totally custom-made trips. A few things that set him apart from the rest is Matt wants you to become a customer and friend for life, and your go to guy for anything Alaska, He also focuses on offering trips that give you more than they are worth.

• 1. Only booking one hunter or group at a time so the focus is on you.
• 2. Matt does all the guiding; you will never be stuck with an assistant guide.
• 3. All hide prep is done in house saving you money.
• 4. We usually do not use bush planes so you will never be delayed with weather coming and going, and this also lowers our bottom-line price saving you time and money.
• 5.Matt is in the field year-round, so you won't be booking with one of those outfits that only operates 6 weeks out of the year and spends the rest of their time somewhere else.
• 6. Over 7,400 successful trips in the last 25 years.
• Trips are currently being booked for black bear, and grizzly bear, custom trips also available. All hunts are done in extreme wilderness conditions deep in mountain country. You should be in good shape for these hunts, nothing is easy in Alaska, and you have to work for every animal.
