About this hunt

These horseback hunts take place north of the Arctic circle on the south side of the Brooks range. The use of horses allow us to cover a vast area that would otherwise be virtually impossible to hunt. You will fly into our remote gravel airstrip where we will meet you with a string of pack horses, load up your gear, and lead you to our rustic yet comfortable basecamp. From the basecamp we will take horses further into the mountains and set up a spike camp consisting of two tents, a small kitchen, plenty of good food, and an astonishing view of the landscape. Generally we will hunt on foot from there, occasionally taking saddle horses on day trips to cover more ground . OUTFITTER WILL TAKE POSSESSION OF MEAT UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE PRIOR TO THE HUNT. BASE PRICE OF $25,500 INCLUDES: 2 PRIMARY SPECIES (DALL SHEEP, GRIZZLY, OR MOOSE) + WOLF AND WOLVERINE HARVEST OF 3RD PRIMARY SPECIES = $5,000 NON HUNTER / OBSERVER FEE = $5,000

Dall Sheep hunt.

Gorgeous country. Great 1x1 hunt. Tim is serious about being a top guide. Works hard. Takes good care of all. Experienced.

Others in camp saw limited game. Legal rams were a challenge as was the wet foggy weather.

It was the best guided hunt I have ever been on, so lucky I booked with him.

Tim is very knowledgable in the animals we were hunting, the area, has a great facility, geat meals and good company in the stand. I really enjoyed the hunt. Has the baiting scheme figured out and does a great job. Got a real nice black bear, passed on another that on any other hunt I would have taken in a heart beat, and a great brown bear in 4 days of hunting, what more can you say, even the taxidermy shop I dropped the hides off to was impressed with the care the hides had had, in perfect condition, you can't ask for more from a guide. He may see me again soon.

Not a darn thing.

Outstanding

the sceneries of the brooks range are outstanding. the guides were some of the best I have ever used and I have hunted all over the world. Tim is outstanding , not to mention a pack horse when it came time to bring the trophy out. I will hunt with Tim again.

the fact I had to go home.
